About Us

His Highness Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar Foundation aims to promote Heritage, local crafts & culture and other such related aspects amongst the people of India and the world. The foundation envisions to set-up centres for the propagation of culture and heritage within the state of Karnataka, India and other parts of the world. With a view to preserve, conserve and uphold Indian culture and heritage, the foundation aspires to set up cultural parks, heritage centres and develop the existing heritage centres.

The foundation wishes to involve itself in philanthropic initiatives in the areas of heritage, conservation, education & research in India and the world and organize workshops, exhibitions, cultural discussions, public lectures and the like. As part of its effort to further the cause of heritage and conservation, the foundation has the objective to raise and create funds for creation of documentation, digital archiving, print, publish and disseminate information for the upliftment of Indian Heritage and conservation.

To promote art and culture, the His Highness Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar Foundation has the objective of setting up and running museums, art galleries, exhibition of artefacts and objects of virtue of all kinds including jewelry and textiles. His Highness Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar Foundation is keen on collaborating with government or local bodies or the other social institutions aligned to its core interest areas to ensure better working of the foundation.

Promoting Healthcare

The foundation wishes to promote healthcare by giving medical and health services and community health services to the rural poor and improve their health status by having professionally managed and technology updated health services. Another core area is establishing extension and rehabilitation services related to community health. For this purpose, the foundation looks to establish, conduct, manage and maintain Hospitals, charitable dispensaries, maternity, child welfare centre, convalescent homes, sanatorium, hostels and other institutions for the benefit of public and poor, needy and deserving persons and women, orphans.

Disaster Relief

Through its reach and network, the foundation hopes to assist in any relief measures in those parts which are subject to natural calamities like famine, fire, flood, epidemic, drought, earthquake and other major accidents.
